Hello Friends. Back with another fun release, the new monthly Paint-A- Flower set, featuring a bloom called Camellia. As I have shared in the past, I subscribe monthly -- it is my treat to myself that I look forward to getting in the mail. My favorite thing to do is color so for me this is my favorite Altenew subscription. You're probably thinking, why did you cut the bloom.? Honestly, it was not what I intended to do. Sometimes you have to go with the flow and keep going. I smudged my image while water-coloring, I was way past starting all over. I am a firm believer in trying to salvage something instead of wasting products and tossing them. In the end, I was pleased with my results. I hope I have encouraged you to keep going... sometimes some of my best work has been from fixing mistakes, smudges etc. Don't be afraid to keep going! PRIZES$200 in total prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 1 lucky winner and a $15 gift certificate to 10 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or each designer’s blog post on the blog hop list below by 01/28/2021 for a chance to win. Altenew will draw 11 random winners from the comments left on each stop of this blog hop and announce the winners on the Altenew Winners Page on 01/30/2021. Gorgeous bold reds! And perfect save. I agree and finding creativity with 'mistakes' is really part of the fun. If I hadn't read your post it would just be another great technique for drawing the eye to the sentiment. 🥰

I absolutely agree 100% with making mistakes into something else, and not giving up on a project. With watercolor especially, it can be so frustrating to make a mistake after so much time invested in each art piece. I even try to steer clear of the word “mistake”, and say “happy accident” like Bob Ross coined.
