Hello Altenew friends. Today, the Altenew Educator Team is honoring our Heroes with a blog hop. We want to thank you for your service in making our World a better place. During these unprecedented times. I have seen the love and humanity of many people, in all walks of life, young and old, every profession. I will never again take for granted even the simplest things, like standing in lines in grocery store when I can actually stand by someone, smile and talk. I won't take for granted the quiet time sitting at a table drinking a cold glass of water, waiting to be served a meal. The list goes on and on. Thank you to all our heroes big and small, black and white! Now, lets talk stamping (my creative therapy). Recently, I have been practicing my water-coloring, someday I want to grow up to be Erum. She inspires me everyday with her beautiful coloring. I hope I make her proud. I absolutely love the NEWER monthly subscription club, Paint A Flower. I subscribe to it and look forward to getting a new stamp every month that is perfect for coloring. Today, I am using Paint A Flower: Iris. I am working on the no line coloring technique... I still need a lot of practice. I LOVE how pretty these turned out. Well, this is no ordinary hop! We want you to join in on the fun as well. There is a Linky Party going on at the Altenew Card Blog. All you have to do is link up your creations based on the theme of the hop, which is, “Giving Thanks” and mention that you are taking part in the Altenew Educators Blog Hop and Linky Party. I have to try a looser style when I am watercoloring - with my drafting background, I find that I am too ridig (ie boring!).

I am also trying to learn how to do no line watercolor. It is such a beautiful technique and I really enjoy trying to do it. (Whether or not I actually succeed.) Your pink flowers are so loose and such a beautiful color, I don't think I could do that, but I really like it. Your yellow flowers are quite different which shows off two totally different ways to do it. Very pretty flowers!
