Hey Friends!

Today's post is short and sweet.  This project was designed for my Journey to Certification with Altenew. It's all about Easy die-cutting techniques.  For my card, I made a simple inlay background using die-cuts.

Altenew Products I used:
  • Stamps: Floral Garden (for the sentiment) & Painted Flowers
  • Dies: Leaf Canopy & Painted flowers
  • Ink: Black Permanent, Green Valley Mini Cubes & Tea Party Mini Cubes
Other Products: cardstock, Clear Embossing Ink, Gold Embossing Powder, Silk, Twine and Sequins
To create the background: I first die-cut the sprigs using Leaf Canopy from Altenew using a 4 x 5 1/4 panel of Rose cardstock. I also die-cut a set using a Gold Finished Cardstock. Next I glued the Gold pieces in the empty spaces on the Rose panel. Last, I offset the Rose die-cut pieces over the Gold to create a shadow.  The results look amazing! Such an easy way to create a beautiful background.

Thanks for visiting, ONE more course to complete for LEVEL 1--- practicing and designing!
