Hello friends!

I was so happy to be asked to do some design work again for Altenew.  It is just what the doctor ordered.  I absolutely love this set.  So many possibilities!!

It sure has been way too long since I have created.  My youngest graduated from high school in June and headed off to college in September, shortly after we began house hunting. After looking at many houses, a few failed offers (tough market for buyers)- we found a small house to buy.  We closed December 18th, in time to celebrate Christmas in our new home.

Todays card feature a beautiful bloom, a Peony.  I love how fluffy they are.

Staying true to my style, I did a focal point, water-colored image. If you haven't picked up the new Altenew Woodless Watercolor Pencil Set, you're totally missing out. Like me they will be your favorite medium! I was so excited to use them for the first time, they are dreamy!

Very pretty. I really like this flower and lovely leaves. Your color choices make this card appropriate for anyone (I'm thinking it's more in generic tones- my husband would not want to give his coworker a beautiful pink card )

Hi, Christine - Thank you for sharing your talent with the blog hoppers. I like the composition of your card and the colors you chose... the rich shades of brown and the pale blues in the background. Love the spatters, too!
Wishing you a Happy New Year!

What an unexpected and beautiful color for the peony! The splatters and subtle blue background set it off perfectly. Perfect for any recipient. You make me want to try the watercolor pencils.
