June 3-6, 2015 was our first Annual Fun Stampers Journey Convention in Scottsdale, Arizona
Theme: Going Places!
There were so many surprises at convention. New products, new catalog, new, new, new. My favorite surprise was being given the opportunity to serve on the Fun Stampers Journey 2015-2016 Leadership team. Honored and blessed.
Nikki Turnour, Julie Berke Robinson, Florentina Rivas, Connie Myrick Powell, Kristina Deyette, Michelle Kinder, Christine Pennington and Richard Garay.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
Joshua 1:9 is how it all began. Richard received a message from God. I won't pretend to know or tell the story exactly, because only Richard and Gabby can do that. They were at a time in their life that they were struggling and at crossroads. But, God had a plan and he spoke to Richard, who listened, obeyed, believed and trusted HIM. Together, with Gabby and a few friends who stayed by their side, Fun Stampers Journey (FSJ) was given birth. One year, after launching FSJ as a direct sales company, we now (in my opinion) have the HOTTEST, TRENDIEST, most amazing paper-crafting line on the market. Thank you Richard for following God's plan for you and your family. God is so good and he will continue to lead us all.
Okay, back to convention...
On Wednesday, we were able to tour the Journey Station. Here is just a couple photos I took. The lobby area is so inviting. I loved the Studio... can you read the ribbon? How about the FUN chevron floor. I could hang out and create in there for HOURS. Someday, I hope to do just that with Kim and Richard. (Also pictured, a few of us from Team Kazan).
Here is a photo of the convention bag we received. It is super cute. 2 bags in 1. The larger one is reversible. We received all our stamps and projects and tickets to our breakout sessions. I also received an invite only to the President's reception.
There were demonstrations, make and takes, displays & lots and lots of trading. SO much inspiration. We were able to meet FOUR of the current design team members. I am so happy I got to meet a few of them. Kim and her team ROCK!
Team photos. I am on team Garden Gates (Pictured on the left), as Claudia is my upline. I also am the team leader of team Pen Pals! (Pictured on the right) 7 of my downline were able to come to convention. Yes, we have our shirts on backwards for the photo. I have to giggle at my hair-- it was so puffy and I could not style it no matter what I tried... darn Arizona heat. Tee hee.
Now onto Recognition & Awards Night!

Make Live Share Award
Saved the best for the last, the Make Live Share Award. This award is by far the top honor to receive. Peers nominated fellow coaches for the award. To be among the others on the list was an honor--- but the best honor was seeing my Mama C (my Journey coach upline, mentor and friend) receive the award. There is nobody else more deserving than Miss Claudia Gates. I love her with all my heart.
Thank you Richard, Gabby and the Journey Crew for the amazing time. Thank you for all the work you do for us. I am so blessed and filled with joy. My cup runneth over.
So, here's to another amazing year ahead of us. I can't wait to see what God has in store for FSJ, me, my team and all my fellow coaches. We are taking the industry by the storm.
