Hey there fellow papercrafters! Christine back with a beauty! I actually made this card a couple weeks ago... decided to show it off. I am now transitioning my color palette to fall colors (it's time)... but before I do that entirely, I decided this beauty needed to be shared. I love to make my own backgrounds... I am not a huge fan of patterned papers. I like to be unique and not be limited to the color palettes in patterned papers or the repetitive patterns. I am a huge fan of having my own creative license to create my own things. Ha.
Anyhow, I have taken a few photos of the steps to create the background., it's pretty simple, but the end results are so pretty.
(Creating the background) White Washing Technique
(Creating the flower) Kissing Technique
(Finishing the card)
Diecut leaves with Gold Mirror paper, Stamp sentiment on Whip Cream Circle (I cut two of the sentiments apart to stamp both Simply and amazing) ... assemble and embellish as shown in the photo. I used Journey Foam Squares between layers to give it a dimension.
I hope I inspired you just a little today. Keep spreading kindness, one hand-stamped card at a time. Until next time!
For me, card-making is therapeutic art. I love to express myself to others by creating beautiful handmade cards. This is my emotional outlet. I hope I can inspire you to stamp.color.create.
